#INSIDEHBI – Welcome Vidushi
Posted 25 Aug 2020
We welcome our new intern Vidushi to our team! So that we can get to know her a little better, Vidushi filled out a short portrait for us.
Name: Vidushi Bhattacharjee
Study: Currently, pursuing my bachelors International Business from EU Business School, Munich
What could you already learn in previous jobs/internships?
The work that goes into a successful marketing.
What do you expect from your internship at HBI?
To get the true feel of how the PR & Marketing world actually functions.
Why are you doing an internship in the PR industry?
I always wanted to know why PR & Marketing was looked at as a make or break point for any business and doing an internship in the same industry would probably be the best way of getting an answer to my question.
How was your first internship day? What expectations did you start with and were they fulfilled?
To be honest, I was very nervous because this is my first internship in a completely German work environment. But everyone was really nice and welcoming, that definitely eased things out a lot.
Which tasks would you like to take on?
I am looking forward to all the coverage reports 😉
What experiences can/would you like to take with you for the future? Is there anything new that you have already learned?
I think, I have definitely learned quite a lot already. I’d like to call them the intricacies of this industry, the biggest being the difference between ‘Marketing’ and ‘PR’. As for what I would like to take with me to the future, that would definitely be my improved German speaking skills.
What fascinates you most about the technology industry?
The fact that within the technology industry, there is so much diversity. It is absolutely unbelievable.
Are you from Munich?
No, I am from New Delhi, India. But I love this place!
Where do people meet you when you’re not in the office or at university?
Probably in my running gear in Englischer Garten 😊
Would you rather be in the city or in the country?
I have always liked the cities and the noise and the liveliness of the city more than the country.
What did you want to be when you were a child?
As far as I can remember, I wanted to follow the Indian stereotype of being a doctor.
How do you find out about news – print or online?
More commonly online, but ever since I’ve started working here, I can get a hand on a lot of print media.
What is your favorite lunch during working hours?
I cannot name my favorite, but definitely not the ‘salad’ from the closest supermarket.
