The new MCUs have up to two built-in CPU cores, up to 2MB of Flash memory and are available in a 304-pin fine pitch ball grid array (FBGA) package. Single-core versions have 64KB of RAM and dual core versions have 128KB of RAM.
The new V850E2M/MN4 family of high-performance, single-chip MCUs is ideal for factory automation (FA) systems, drives, servo drives, industrial inverters and household equipment.

Dhrystone: Dhrystone is a benchmarking program used to compare computing performance. The 1024 Dhrystone MIPS achieved by Renesas Electronics’ new MCUs are based on the MCU Dhrystone benchmark version 2.1.
